Emily Wilson, Francesca Sirotzki, Armani Francisquini, and Vanessa Ramos of Jefferson High School participated in the NIBPA Foundation Girls Pre-Season tournament on Nov. 29, 2024, at Park Lanes. The tournament featured a competitive field of bowlers and provided an opportunity for Jefferson’s team to prepare for the regular season.
The event also marked the debut of new coach Sabrina Stoltz, Jefferson alumni and former state qualifier, who led the team in her first competitive outing.
Wilson finished with a six-game series total of 637, averaging 127.4. Her highest score came in the fourth game with 157. Other game scores included 92, 137, 131, 157, and 120. Despite fluctuations in performance, Wilson demonstrated the ability to maintain focus over the course of the event.
Sirotzki posted a six-game series total of 566 and an average of 113.2. Her highest score was 130 in the fifth game. Additional game scores were 128, 109, 102, and 97. Sirotzki showed consistency throughout her series.
Francisquini totaled 421 pins over six games, averaging 84.2. Her highest score was 110 in the first game. Other scores included 76 and 53 in later rounds. Francisquini’s performance added depth to the team’s lineup.
Ramos concluded her six-game series with a total of 280, averaging 56.0. Her top score was 67 in the fifth game. Other scores were 49, 59, 57, and 48. Ramos’ participation provided valuable pre-season experience.
The pre-season tournament served as preparation for Jefferson’s team as it heads into the regular season. The performances of Wilson, Sirotzki, Francisquini, and Ramos offered insight into the team's potential for the upcoming season.
