Meet the Principal

Welcome to Jefferson High School!

Don Rundall leads staff and students as the Executive Principal of Jefferson High School, where he has been an administrator for 13 years. Prior to serving as an administrator at Jefferson, Mr. Rundall was the principal of Nashold Elementary School and Flinn Middle School.

The education industry has been a great influence for Don since childhood. Preceding his own 23 years in the education profession, Mr. Rundall was exposed to the impacts of education by watching his parents – mother as a retiring elementary principal and father as a retired professor in the area of Human Services. Carrying on the tradition, Don and his sister are both Rockford Public Schools educators.

Mr. Rundall’s wife, Rachel, is also a teacher in the district. Combined, they have four children: Macy, Nolan, Ainsley and Linley.
