The mission of Renaissance is to encourage and promote high
academic achievement, improve attendance, and behavior in
the Rockford Public Schools.

Renaissance acknowledges educational achievements and
outstanding contributions through a process of Respect,
Reinforcement, Recognition and Reward.

Each quarter students may receive a Renaissance card if they
have met at least one of the following requirements:

Award 1- Improving GPA by .5
Award 2- Eliminating D's or F's
Award 3- Honor Roll
Award 4- Straights A's
Award 5- C average with less than two days absence

Each Semester students may receive Certificates of achievements,
Academic letters or pins.

Certificates of Achievement are given to students who have a
GPA between 3.00 and 3.49 for the semester.

Letters and pins are given to students who have a GPA of 3.5
or better. Students only get one academic letter during their
high school career. After receiving a letter, the students will
receive pins for every semester they have a GPA of 3.5 or
better.
