1964: School board proposes turning Jefferson Junior High into a senior high.

1969: Jefferson enrolls freshman in its first step to becoming a high school.

1972: Graduation of first senior class.

1973: Superintendent Robert Salisbury recommends construction of a new building at 4145 Samuelson Road.

1978: School opens in a new building; old building becomes Flinn Middle School.
